Newman mentioned that he liked mine - so I thought it would be cool to see everyone's desktop. If you don't know how to take a screenshot, just press the "PrntScr" button on your keyboard, and then go into MS Paint and click Ctrl+V. Voila! (but don't forget to resize the picture to make it a bit smaller!). Then, just go to any image uploading website, like www.imageshack.us and post the link.

Here is mine:

Yeah...I messed up the image a little, but you get the idea.

This was the BSU Alumni Magazine. They did an article about the Zoo Immersion Course I was in my Junior year.
Some people I had no clue were BSU alumni were like "Is that you on the cover??" It helps the ego a little Wink

That's Ellie. She's an Umbrella Cockatoo. She's one of our education birds, she's never out in the dome (where the picture was taken), so she was all excited about the new location and all the attention. I do take care of her though.

Also, I dislike my zoo shirt because it makes me look a little on the thick side.

LOL - no it doesn't.

And that bird is awesome. I love its mohawk. I also like that you have google chrome and firefox on that desktop of yours - and no Internet Explorer. Good job! Like a Star @ heaven

That's all Matt! I do love Chrome though.

Also, I put pictures on facebook about our Chicago trip. I posted some on PD and N8R said you would appreciate the pictures. So you should go to my photo page and check them out.
We saw Broken Social Scene, Modest Mouse, and went to the Lincoln Park Zoo, just so you know Smile

Thanks for being honest N8R Wink

Unfortunately, it's required when we're open for the year. I love winter because I get to wear whatever the fuck I want (within reason).

Either or.

No probs Piggy. I am a no BS typer person, so if you want honesty ask me and tell me you want honesty, if you are looking to feel good about something let me know and I can do that too.

With regards to the shirt, they aren't flattering but they scream zoo keeper and I think that is what you are aiming for. You don't want to be in a gown with poo all over you, although I think that would be funny.

My favorite part about your reaction is that you're seemingly cool with one of the tabs being, "The Big Gay Ice Cream..."

N8R:

We have guest injuries all the time. Most of them heat related or just little cuts and stuff.
Before I started one keeper accidentally left the lock undone on the tiger cage and I think she got attacked or almost got attacked and locked herself in the cage so it couldn't get to her. Another keeper left the lock undone on the Langur holding pens and they attacked her. She got beat the hell up too. They look cute, but they are still dangerous animals.
Those are the only two incidents that I know of. It's also the reason upper management will ride your ass so hard if you accidentally leave a lock undone!

You would think that if you're in charge of tiger cages, you'd have "locking them" pretty high on the priority list. Is that a "first offense and you're fired" type of deal, Ms. Piggy?

Also, I had no idea what a Langur was until I searched it. Weird - this one doesn't look unfriendly at all:
