How can I make it slightly smaller?

I dunno - looks great on my screen. Just resize them in whatever program you use before you upload.

I think it is either slighty squished or it cuts off a bit on my comp. It is supposed to be a wide screen shot and to me it looks like a 4x3

It was cool to get that close to a huge gator like this guy, but our boat bumped its tail and it started puffing up and hissing. It could easily have turned around and bitten us.

That is probably the one creature on this Earth that I am most afraid of right there. Those things are just bred to kill anything - they're vicious predators. Really fast on land - really fast in the water. And their bite strength is crazy strong. And, I believe they have a brain that is about the size of a peanut - just enough to tell them to "eat" and that's about it.

I hate those things - and you can never see them well because their colours always blend in so nicely with the swamp atmosphere.

Wow, seriously - kudos to you and Matt! Seeing one of those in its natural habitat would scare the crap out of me.

Actually, Matt wasn't with me. This was from a class my senior year in college. Lots of fun!

Also, sweabs, if you are being chased on land by one of these guys, run in a zig-zag pattern. They're also more of an ambush predator, so they don't actually chase you down. They wait under the water until you're right up on them to snap their powerful jaws down on your leg

So you're saying the chances that one chases me through the swampy meadows is rare? Because one of my favourite things to do is go jogging in those types of areas while eating a bucket of KFC chicken. Sometimes I even leave pieces of raw chicken hanging out of my back pocket, in case I want to BBQ some up for later.

Oooooh...I like that pic. When you were hiking, was it busy? I like my hikes to be uninterrupted.

The trail up to Laurel Falls was busy, but some of the trails that start in the middle of nowhere are pretty quiet.

This was just us pulling off to the side of the road and walking down the riverbank. There were pullaways all over the place. It was gorgeous.

How do people in Indy react to a dog that is hiking off-lead? I get a lot of dirty looks from some around here.

Probably get dirty looks. Not too sure...I don't mind really...as long as they don't disturb the wildlife.
