I got to take pictures of our female tiger attacking and "killing" a cardboard animal. She took that thing down in less than a minute, then carried pieces of it into the pond and basically drowned it. It was funny because she was acting like a housecat with a toy, but also scary because I realized if she got loose none of us would stand a chance against her.

Indeed, I have always wondered how many unarmed people would it take to kill a tiger or lion. I am weird and I think about fighting animals bare hands and how many it would take for certain animals. Legitimately think for a second of an animal and think: "Could I beat this animal up?" A dog, a cat, a monkey, a gorilla, a wolf...the list is endless and if you couldn't do it yourself how many people would it take?

At least 3 in my opinion. We have procedures in case she does get out...none of which involve wrestling her or getting that close to her, so it's just a guestimation.
Also, I figure one of us would have a tranquilizer or something, so that's why I say 3. If it's just wrestling her to the ground...I'd say at least 5...one of us for each paw...and one to hold her head down. Even then they'd have to be some strong people. She's the feisty one.

Yeah...you're probably closer. I just don't think about it like that, so I have no clue. We have an immobilization crew of about 10 people if that's something...

To wrestle and strangle a tiger? I would think at least twenty, assuming we're talking about untrained unarmed civilians.
I always wonder if I could take an angry dog unarmed. Seems like if you could immobilize the neck and mouth before it bit the shit out of you, you'd win. I'm probably wrong though.

Dogs are simple enough...kick the head...hard. A human kick is actually one of our best weapons if we can land it on an animals head. It can cause a ton of damage. (Broken neck, fractured skull, broken jaw, unconcious)
I fought a tiger once...I won...bitch.
One of these statements is serious...the other is not.

That makes sense. Our leg muscles are much more powerful than our upper body.

Yep, I know pitbulls have hard heads, but I'd have no problem teeing off on their dome, if they came after me. I played soccer for many years, and still do road biking so I'm pretty confident, I could stop one in its tracks.

Re: The Counting Thread
1250...that's it for the Hohenstaufens, Fred.
----------------
So anyway my friend calls me from Nashville, where he had just seen an evening of music at the Station Inn, which is a famous dive, and got to talk to John Hiatt and Delbert McClinton. He and his companion leave the place, and my friend tries to drive back up the street to the other person's truck. They're stuck in traffic...30 minutes to go two blocks, with hordes of 15-yr-old girls and their moms all over the street and the sidewalk. My buddy finally sticks his head out the window and yells at some guy walking..."Hey, what's going on? Where'd all these people come from??" The guy yells back "Justin Bieber just let out!" And my friend yells "Who??"
So he calls me and asks if I ever heard of Justin Bagger, or Berger, or something like that.

What double post? MWHAHAHAHA
I remember one weekend when me and the fellas, sweabs included, were driving downtown and the Backstreet Boys concert was happening that night in town and we were right beside the stadium and we got sweabs to run out of the car yelling, "NICK CARTER" over and over and over as he went running through the crowd. It was really funny.
