Everyone: Are you guys all Pacers fans? Most of you rarely posted on the regular board, but I figured you wouldn't have been there if you weren't.

I'm a Pacer fan, my wife is not. We have met TA and his special lady friend in person and I actually roomed with Shade for a year.

I'm a Pacers fan. Have been a loyal fan my entire life. I used to post more on the Pacers board. In real life, I'm friends with the Newmaney one - and yes, sweabs was my handle on PD.

One more: Why is the counting thread such a big deal? I don't really get it I guess?

I'd be willing to guess that everyone has their own reason as to what makes it special.

For me, it seemed like one of the last few places I could go to on PD for community/camaraderie. I thought that it was pretty cool to see tons of counters meeting up across the globe because of the relationships they forged in the thread. Places like here in North America, Europe, and Australia...

I only know Balloon (sweabs/rcarey) in real life but I have also met the man the woman scream GO!!!!! when I was in Aussie. He let me stay at his place rent free for 5 weeks while we hung out and did shit up.

The counting thread to me was not about the numbers (although they needed to be right) it was about just getting to know others from all over the place. I mean people have met each other in real life the met on PD and mostly ones that met in The Counting thread (forum parties aside). I mean international people like Myself and GO!!!!! and Belli and Rasko, Kesty and Putnam. It was the one place on PD that I found I actually got to know a poster.

I'm a bandwagon fan nowadays if ever. I used to really like the pacers. They got me playing bball and learning how it actually works instead of just throwing the ball into the basket and dribbling etc.

They haven't been good for a while I've stopped caring.

About the pacers anyway...

I forgot to answer the Pacers fan question, Balloon is a Pacers fan and I a Knicks fan so we used to be able to jab each other back when our teams were half decent and then I started to respect the Pacers for how well they matched up. These days I dont really care much about any team. Knicks are still my fav but honestly it is just sports, what do they really matter. Community matters!

If this group of people all lived in one town I would shit myself with excitement. Would be some great hang outs and good times had. Heck if I spent as much time with these people in person as i do online I would get nothing done ever but still better in person. We will do a Forum party something FOR SURE!!!!!

Pacer Fan, no doubt, always will be and always have been, thankfully I like other sports, otherwise I my well be suicidal...

Met the man they cal N8R, great chap and a delight, always welcome... it was kinda of a tame time as I did have some study commitments, really it was 5 weeks. darn that went fast... next time we meet, there will be more parting, as long as we can find that silly canadian drink you like...

As for the Pacers. I was a fan back when I was in elementary school/middle school. Mainly because my dad was a fan and we would go to games and bond and such. Then I got to high school and got my own kind of hobbies, the pacers started to suck, and I just kind of stopped caring about basketball. I moved on to football.

I hate football after the superbowl.... hate it... just kidding I'll be back, Indiana anything for ever.....

I blame Rik, Mark & Reggie for my love of the game, plus Indiana, doesn't it just sound like a romantic place to be...

I would be down for a Niagara Falls Forum party, There are some activities that could be down for sure. They have body flying there. For that dont know it, this is a video of it.



PLus they have the falls, some casinos and some beaches in the area.

That body flying looks like it would be fun for about 5 seconds...then it'd get old real fast.
