does 2012 interest anyone? I'm not referring to the movie, but rather the year itself and what may or may not happen.

Don't care...people are misinterpreting the Mayan calendar, it does not say that the world will end, but rather just begins a new cycle for how they measure time.

It is a ploy. Before the hype, the Mayans did not interpret the end of the world 2012, just the end of the calendar.
